SSSTikTok

How to download TikTok videos in 2026

Every method that still works, on every device — from the official (watermarked) way to the clean, watermark-free method, plus MP3 sounds and photo slideshows.

1. The fastest method — SSSTikTok (any device, no watermark)

This works identically on iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux, and takes about twenty seconds:

  1. Copy the link. In the TikTok app, tap the Share arrow on the video and choose Copy link. On desktop, copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
  2. Paste it. Go to the SSSTikTok downloader, tap the input box, and paste (the Paste button does it for you on most devices).
  3. Download. Press the Download button. A preview appears with options — Download MP4 (no watermark), HD MP4, MP3 and cover image. Tap the one you want and the file saves to your device.

Short links (vm.tiktok.com, vt.tiktok.com) work too — paste them exactly as copied and the site resolves them automatically.

2. The official way — TikTok’s built-in save

TikTok itself lets you save many public videos: tap Share → Save video and the clip rolls into your camera roll. Two caveats make most people look for an alternative:

  • The saved file has the TikTok watermark and @username burned in, bouncing around the frame.
  • Creators can disable downloads for their videos, in which case the button simply doesn’t appear.

The official save is fine for casual resharing inside the app. When you need a clean file — for editing, presentations, or archiving — use method 1.

3. Downloading TikTok videos on iPhone & iPad

iOS handles downloads slightly differently, so here is the exact flow in Safari:

  1. Copy the TikTok link via Share → Copy link.
  2. Open Safari, go to SSSTikTok, paste the link and tap Download.
  3. Tap Download MP4 (no watermark). A blue progress circle appears next to the address bar.
  4. When it finishes, open the Files app → On My iPhone → Downloads (or iCloud Drive → Downloads) and tap the file to play it.
  5. To move it to your Camera Roll: tap the file, then the Share icon → Save Video.

If a tap opens an in-page preview instead of downloading, press and hold the button and choose Download Linked File from the context menu.

4. Downloading TikTok videos on Android

  1. Copy the link from TikTok (Share → Copy link).
  2. Open Chrome (or Samsung Internet), paste the link into SSSTikTok and tap Download.
  3. Choose a format. Android saves the file to your Downloads folder immediately.
  4. Find it via Files by Google, your gallery app, or Google Photos — videos typically appear in Photos within a minute (tap Library → Downloads if not).

5. Downloading TikTok videos on PC & Mac

On a computer the process is the shortest of all: copy the video URL from the address bar of tiktok.com, paste it into the downloader, click Download, then click a format button. The MP4 or MP3 lands in your browser’s download folder. From there you can rename it, move it, or drop it straight into an editor.

6. Saving TikTok sounds and music as MP3

Every result on SSSTikTok includes a Download MP3 button that extracts the audio track — the song, original sound or voiceover — as a standalone MP3. For a walkthrough and the details (bitrate, ringtones, what’s legal), see the TikTok MP3 downloader page.

7. Saving TikTok photo slideshows

Photo carousels can’t be “saved” from the app at all — your only native option is screenshotting each slide. Instead, paste the slideshow’s link into the photo downloader and every image arrives as a full-resolution file with its own download button.

8. Troubleshooting: when downloads misbehave

“Could not fetch this video”
The video is private, deleted, age-restricted or region-locked. Nothing can download it — try another video to confirm the tool itself works.
The download button opens a preview instead of saving
On iOS especially, long-press the button and choose Download Linked File. On desktop, right-click → Save link as… always works.
“The service is busy right now”
Temporary rate limit. Wait five to ten seconds and submit the link again.
The link “is not valid”
Make sure you copied the full link, including the video ID. A profile link (@username) is not a video link — open the specific video first.
Download is slow or stops
The file streams from TikTok’s CDN; congestion is usually on the route. Retry, or try the non-HD version — it’s smaller.

Final word

However you download, the rule is the same: personal use is one thing, republishing someone’s creative work is another. Credit creators, ask permission when in doubt, and enjoy your offline library. Ready? The downloader is right here.
